Our school's Multimedia Design Department is holding the 2021 Online Invitational Ceramic Exhibition until August 31, 2021 with the sponsorship of the China Cultural Center.
The event is being hosted by SCU Vice President LEE Hyanga (concurrently serving as the Chair of the Multimedia Design Department) and Distinguished Prof. LEE Buyeon. Those participating in the event from the Chinese side are faculty members (including Museum Director Chen Jun and Prof. Long Zhou) of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and promising artists. A total of 81 potters from the two countries will take part.

"The event will serve as a venue where past traditions mix with our future. We hope to be able to contribute to the development of the country's culture through the brisk holding of international events, SCU Vice President LEE Hyanga said.

Our school is recruiting new/transferred students for a total of 8 colleges, 38 departments (majors) for the second half of 2021, starting June 1, 2021 as follows:
Majors include Social Welfare College (▲ Social Welfare, Elderly Welfare, Management, Child Welfare, Youth Welfare); Psychology & Counseling College (▲ Counseling Psychology, Family Coaching & Counseling, Military & Police Counseling, Professional Psychotherapy); Social Science College (▲ Real Estate Management, Law & Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Korean Language Culture); Business College (▲ Business Administration, Global Trade & Logistics, Finance & Insurance, Taxation & Accounting; Future Multidisciplinary Studies College (▲ Software Convergence, International Cooperation and North Korea Studies, Vocational & Career Counseling, Military Defense Convergence Management, Online Commerce, Robot Convergence (newly established), Safety Management (same), Personal Broadcast Production (same); Engineering College (▲ Compute Science and Engineering, Big Data & Information, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Control Engineering); Design College (▲ Multimedia Design, Architectural Space Design, Web Literacy Creation, Beauty Design Department (newly established); Culture & Arts College (▲ Culture & Arts Management, Piano, Voice, Applied Music, Music Therapy).
Anyone with a high school diploma can apply as a new student. Transferee students who have earned academic credits at another school are welcome. A large number of business employees with junior college diploma or higher are expected to apply. There has been an increase in the number of those looking for new careers by taking a course at a university like us. Those applying as transferees may choose a new major regardless of what they have studied in another school. They may submit their applications through SCU's homepage for admission (apply.iscu.ac.kr) or mobile.
SCU's Graduate School is also recruiting new students for the master's course in Social Welfare for the second semester. Please check the details at the SCU Graduate School homepage (grad.iscu.ac.kr).
