December 2025 No. 1 in Cyber University Brand Reputation
In the 2026 Cyber University Brand Reputation Analysis, our University ranked No. 1 in December, following its top position in November. The Korea Corporate Reputation
Research Institute conducted a brand big data reputation analysis of cyber
universities loved by domestic consumers. The analysis examined 18,316,568
pieces of brand big data collected between November 23rd and
December 23rd, 2025. Brand reputation is assessed by
categorizing consumer activity big data into participation value, communication
value, social value, market value, and financial value. The Cyber University
Brand Reputation Index analyzes consumers’ digital behavior through a
reputation analysis algorithm, measuring the Participation Index, Media Index,
Communication Index, and Community Index, while strengthening both channel
evaluations and consumer evaluations of brands. The Brand Reputation Index is a
metric created through brand big data analysis based on the finding that
consumers’ online habits significantly influence brand consumption. It measures
positive and negative brand evaluations, media attention, levels of consumer
participation and communication, and the volume of conversations on social
platforms.

In line with changes in the
global education environment, our University has expanded international
exchanges, collaborating with leading overseas institutions such as Stockholm
University in Sweden and California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in
the United States on joint research and content exchange. In particular, with
CSUSB, the University operates the first online dual-degree program among cyber
universities, enabling students to obtain both domestic and overseas degrees
simultaneously, thereby leading an innovative global education model.
These achievements in expanding
global education have enhanced the University’s credibility and reputation. As
a result, this No. 1 ranking in brand reputation once again demonstrates the
University’s international competitiveness.
The University’s brand, which
ranked first in the Cyber University Brand Reputation, recorded a Participation
Index of 787,902, Media Index of 438,293, Communication Index of 531,704, and
Community Index of 397,631, resulting in a total Brand Reputation Index of
2,155,530. This represents a 16.38% increase compared to the November Brand
Reputation Index of 1,852,154.
Koo Chang Hwan, Director of the
Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, “According to the December 2025 cyber university
brand big data analysis, Seoul Cyber University ranked first. Compared to
November’s cyber university brand big data volume of 17,319,551, the total
increased by 5.76%. In the detailed analysis, brand consumption increased by
16.85%, brand issues by 21.93%, brand communication by 1.44%, while brand
diffusion decreased by 12.81%.”
