- Four-Leaf Clovers Presented to Wish Good Luck to New Students

Our university successfully held the 2026 Admission Ceremony on the 28^th of February (Sat), at Tchaikovsky Hall on the campus located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The event was organized to celebrate a new beginning, with newly admitted undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students attending together with their families.

During the ceremony, four-leaf clovers, symbolizing good luck, were presented to freshmen and transfer students to wish them a strong start to their academic journey. In addition, a Red Horse photo event, symbolizing a new leap forward, was held to create special memories for attendees.

As part of the congratulatory performance, faculty members from the university’s Department of Voice, who are active on world-class stages, took the stage and performed celebratory songs to bless the future of the new students. After the ceremony, gatherings by departments were held. Students had the opportunity to meet their academic advisors in person, receive academic guidance, and ask questions about university life.

Notably, several unique cases of admission drew attention at this year’s ceremony, including family members enrolling together and returning students. Some sisters enrolled at the same time to begin a new challenge together, while one married couple also entered the university simultaneously. In another case, a student who had previously graduated from our university twice enrolled for a third time to pursue a new major. These examples reflect the expansion of learning in the era of lifelong education. Reflecting the active trend of family-recommended admissions, the university also provides Family Scholarships to support students’ academic pursuits.

President Lee Eun-joo stated, “I sincerely welcome all new students who have begun a new journey at Seoul Cyber University.” She added, “As Korea’s leading cyber university equipped with the best online education curriculum and top-level infrastructure, our professors and staff will support you every step of the way so that the learning you have chosen becomes a turning point in your life.”

She continued, “Through AI-based educational innovation and a systematic learning support system, we will provide an environment where anyone can learn and grow fairly,” adding that “your challenge at Seoul Cyber University will mark the beginning of new possibilities.”
