'The Future Society' the only 'registered academic journal' among cyber universities in Korea. -Academic journal 《The Future Society》 has been approved by the Korea Research Foundation -The only one among Korean cyber universities  [Photo] Cover image of the academic journal 'The Future Society'. The academic journal 《The Future Society》, produced by our university's Future Society Strategy Research Institute, has earned a recognition as it's been selected as a 'registered academic journal' by the Korea Research Foundation, the only one among cyber universities in Korea. This is the only instance where a cyber university in Korea has been recognized for its academic expertise by the Korea Research Foundation. Being selected as a registered academic journal by the Korea Research Foundation signifies that it has been acknowledged for its authority and expertise as a specialized academic journal in the respective field. This is a remarkable achievement attained just two years after being listed as a candidate for registration in 2020. Since its launch in 2010, 《The Future Society》 has been at the forefront of identifying and addressing potential challenges in our ever-evolving society. Its proactive approach and solutions-oriented perspective have garnered consistent praise from both academic and professional circles. The recent recognition of 《The Future Society》 as a registered academic journal highlights its academic value and expertise, a sentiment echoed by university representatives. During the recent assessment, 《The Future Society》, a comprehensive academic journal publishing interdisciplinary academic subjects, was highly rated for its insightful exploration of various interdisciplinary topics and its pursuit of specific academic achievements and contributions. In addition, the journal was praised for the diverse and skilled editorial board, its expansive reach across the country, its organized journal structure, and the well-defined and systematic guidelines it follows. Head of the Future Society Strategy Research Institute, Professor Kim Yoon-na (from the Social Welfare department), emphasized that "《The Future Society》 will continually challenge and expand the academic perspectives in future society research." She further added, "It's poised to not only enhance domestic scholarly exchanges but also play a pivotal role in shaping a global repository for studies on future societies." The Future Society Strategy Research Institute of our university is set to fortify its academic ties with Seogang University's Life and Culture Research Institute. An MOU signing is scheduled for 1:00 PM on November 18, 2022, followed by a pivotal international conference addressing "The Role of Local Communities in Addiction and Recovery in the Endemic Era." In another notable update, the journal 《The Future Society》 is preparing to launch its Volume 13, Issue 2, on December 31st. |
