Vocational & Career Counseling
Major Overwiew
SCU’s Vocational & Career Coaching Major is designed to provide practical education for growth as vocational counselor, change of career path, and career coaching.
To that end, this course provides systematic education course and class in preparation for (1) obtaining government-accredited qualifications for career counseling, (2) switching careers like career development - deepen - double cropping life, and (3) career coaching for assisting in career or vocation selection.
Objectives of education
- To foster convergent career coaching talents contributing to self, family, and community
- Career coach who helps explore own aptitudes and career switching
- Career coach assisting family members and people around in their exploration of aptitudes and career
- Career coach contributing to community by linking talents with career
Career Opportunities upon Graduation
To serve at public or government vocational stability agencies or employment support centers (employment center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, municipal employment centers, public vocational training institutes), employment support center of the Ministry of National Defense, employment information offices of universities, etc.
To serve at human resources departments of businesses
