Career Coaching Center conducting employment seminars utilizing the metaverse  The Career Coaching Center at our university conducted a job seminar in the metaverse (Gather Town) on April 20th. The Career Coaching Center, recognizing the diverse visions and goals of students, provides tailored career counseling and job skills enhancement, taking into account their aptitude and capabilities. In order to offer common strategies and job-seeking tactics necessary for employment, the center organized the job seminar in the metaverse. Any enrolled student who wants to start job hunting or needs unique strategies can apply for the special lecture. This includes those who want to discover their strengths and learn job-seeking skills or those who want to strengthen their foundation in the job market. This employment seminar is divided into two parts: "Delivering Speeches Clearly and Deliciously" and "Communication Skills with Problem-solving Ability, Mock Interviews for Employment Preparation, Question and Answer Sessions." In Part 1, image making and vocal exercises will be conducted, including staccato and sentence practice, as well as speaking preparation and keyword emphasis methods, and strategies for constructing a 1-minute speech. Part 2 will feature a seminar to enhance communication skills related to leadership. Meanwhile, our university is the first cyber university in Korea to have achieved the highest grade, Grade A, in all three official evaluations conducted by the Ministry of Education for remote and cyber universities. It boasts an online education system optimized for the untact era. Moreover, in 2021, our university led among domestic cyber universities with the highest enrollment of new and transfer students according to information disclosure standards. Recently, it was chosen as a recipient of the Ministry of Education's support program for innovation in remote university education. Building upon the establishment of specialized programs such as the ON-FLEX-based education model for enhancing adult learners' capabilities, the development of big data platforms and specialized business infrastructure, and the establishment of a Department of Defense Convergence, the university contributes to the dissemination of quality remote education. |
