"Jeonse Fraud: Analyzing Government Policies, Identifying Root Causes, and Proposing Effective Solutions" - A Special Lecture by the Real Estate Department

- On January 20th (Saturday) and 27th (Saturday) at 1 PM, the event will take place in the International Conference Room on the 2nd floor of Building A

In anticipation of the first semester admissions for the 2024 academic year, the Department of Real Estate is organizing a special lecture by Professor Kim Sung-yong titled 'Analysis of Government Policies on Causes and Solutions to Jeonse Fraud.' The lecture will take place on January 20th (Saturday) and January 27th (Saturday) at 1 PM in the International Conference Room on the 2nd floor of Building A.


The special lecture organized by Real Estate Management Department is open for  current and former real estate students, students and alumni from various departments, and those from external universities or online real estate programs. To attend, interested individuals must register in advance, and the registration process is available on the Real Estate Management Department's website.


The special lecture on January 20th will cover the causes of Jeonse fraud and solutions from certified professionals. The topics includes trends in multi-unit housing and house transactions in the Seoul metropolitan area , insights into the real estate market's characteristics, and discussions on professional ethics for certified professionals. The second session on January 27th will focus on real estate policies under the Yoon Suk-yeol government and a comparative analysis of real estate policies using key terms.


Professor Kim Dong-hwan, Head of the Real Estate Department, stated, "In anticipation of the second round of admissions for the 2024 first semester, I have prepared this special lecture for applicants and current students interested in real estate. Through this lecture, I hope to provide a valuable opportunity to satisfy the desire for practical education in real estate."


In the meantime, under the leadership of Professor Kim Dong-hwan, the Real Estate Department is dedicated to producing experts capable of leading the 21st-century real estate market with a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum covers comprehensive real estate knowledge and foundational theory in economics, finance, and law. Practical courses in real estate development, management, and investment are designed to prepare students for real-world scenarios. The department actively contributes to the social sharing of knowledge by providing insights into real estate for the general public, making it the only one in Korea to do so among both online and offline universities.
