Didimdol Unification Research Institute operates a Didimdol Learning Support Center for new transfer students - Every Saturday from 14:00 to 17:00, the event will be held on the 8th floor of Building B at our university The Didimdol Unification Research Institute operates the Didimdol Learning Support Center on an ongoing basis for new transfer students who are not accustomed to online lectures or are returning to studying after a long break. Initially started to support the academic endeavors of North Korean defector students admitted through the North Korean Defectors Special Admission, the program now extends its assistance to all new transfer students and current students in need of academic support. Sessions will be held every Saturday from 14:00 to 17:00 on the 8th floor of Building B at our university, covering essential practical topics such as PC skills, assignment writing techniques, and exam preparation for successful academic progress. The first session of the Didimdol Learning Support for the first half of the 2024 academic year began on March 2nd (Saturday), with the participation of around 20 new transfer students and current students. Meanwhile, Vice Director Lee Ji-young of the Unification Didimdol Research Institute mentioned, "Besides the ongoing Didimdol Learning Support sessions, our institute organizes a range of activities including enrollment seminars, welcome gatherings for new transfer students, North-South Korean social integration endeavors, and expert lectures on 'unification security' through departments like the Unified Security North Korean Studies, with the goal of extensively supporting students' school adaptation and skill enhancement." |
