Piano Department 2024 Wick College Lecture Series - Starting March 24th (Sundays), 3 sessions, at Tchaikovsky Hall, Building A, 4th floor  The Piano Department will host the 2024 Wick College Lecture Series. The series will consist of a total of 3 sessions, and each session will be held at Tchaikovsky Hall on the 4th floor of Building A on our campus. on the 24th (Sunday), a performance technique class by Professor Lee Kyung-sook will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for new and transfer students of the Piano Department, followed by Professor Choi Sung-jin's class on March 31st (Sunday), and Professor Shin Ji-yeon's class on April 7th (Sunday). Anyone interested in piano lessons is welcome to attend, and detailed information and registration can be found on the Piano Department's website. Piano Department Head Shin Ji-yeon stated, 'We hold the Wick College Lecture Series every year for tailored practical education for our department's students.' She added, 'I hope that through one-on-one lessons with professors, students can preview assignment pieces and seize opportunities for skill enhancement. The Piano Department at our university, focused on nurturing professional musicians through online theory and personalized practical training, regularly invites professors from prestigious overseas music universities to conduct masterclasses. Furthermore, as pioneers in Korea, we have adopted Yamaha's digital automatic performance piano, utilizing the Disklavier system, to enable real-time remote lessons between distant countries. This allows us to offer advanced education without spatial limitations through real-time lessons by foreign professors. |
