- On-Flex Learning Tracking and Dashboards - On-Flex AI Chatbot & Big Data Analysis-Based Consultation

![]() This school was selected for the "Remote University Education
Innovation Support Project" conducted by the Ministry of Education and the
Korea Educational Information Service, and established Seoul Cyber University's
own educational model applying the 4th industrial technology. The "On-Flex
Education Model" developed by this school is a specialized education model
to increase adult learner capabilities and bridge the educational environment
gap, and is the first cyber university education model to balance work and
study through self-directed learning.
1. On-Flex Learning Tracking and Dashboards ![]() To cope with the spread of demand for remote education and the expansion of demand for non-face-to-face education after COVID-19, our school has developed and operated an "On-Flex Specialized Teaching and Learning Model" that applies new IT technologies, and one of them is "On-Flex Learning Tracking and Dashboard.". The On-Flex learning tracking and dashboard data-tracks all academic and learning activities generated in the academic and learning systems, classifies them in our own special way, and uses them to analyze learning activities. In this way, managed academic and learning information is grouped, subdivided, and targeted and provided to professors and learners according to their respective characteristics through visualization dashboards, and efficient class operation is supported through real-time data visibility. Through this, it is used as a way to prevent dropout and improve academic achievement by measuring and managing each learning operation index. ![]() It also provides a "learning planning" function for
self-directed learning. It provides flexible learning plan functions so that
adult learners who combine work and learning can freely decide when to learn,
how fast to learn, and when to evaluate based on their work schedule and
training schedule (military students). Based on the learning plan established
in this way, the implementation results are guided through "To-Do
List" and "AI Chatbot" by tracking and managing the
implementation of learning activities. In addition, various performance tasks and evaluations are being
conducted to reach the core goals of the class through "weekly check the
achievement of goals(self-assessment)" and "tasks to achieve goals(Simple
PBL)." Through this, it provides a foundation for learners to learn,
realize, and collaborate on their own.
2. On-Flex AI Chatbot & Big Data Analysis-Based Consultation System Our school developed an "AI chatbot" as part of the "On-Flex education model". "AI Chatbot" is a unique chatbot system of Seoul Cyber University that enables high-quality personalization counseling 24 hours a day for busy adult learners who work and study at the same time. Unlike other chatbots, AI chatbots have a big difference in conducting counseling according to each student's situation based on personalized data. Through this individualized chatbot counseling, learners can study anytime, anywhere with their own "AI class assistant" next to them, which recognizes their learning status and provides counseling based on it. The AI chatbot organized all situations necessary for school life from admission to graduation into scenarios and organized them in the form of questions and answers suitable for counseling through review by related experts. In addition, the scenario is periodically updated to provide more sophisticated chatbot counseling so that it can be an optimal question and answer. The AI chatbot at this school immediately solves students' questions and inconveniences, increasing students' academic satisfaction, and reducing related general counseling, resulting in the effect of focusing more on other counseling. And various student counseling systems such as "phone counseling," "Q&A counseling," "Kakao Talk counseling," and "AI chatbot counseling" were established in connection with the "big data analysis-based counseling system." Through this, a student convenient counseling system was established that fully listens, understands, and satisfies 100% of students' needs.
