It plays a key role in developing high-quality talent and maintains partnerships with major Korean companies including Samsung, LG, and Naver. Earlier, as part of the Korea?Vietnam IT Cooperation Project hosted by the National Information Society Agency (NIA), SCU invited PTIT faculty members for training. In December 2023, the two universities also signed an international exchange agreement to promote the digital transformation of higher education. In support of the 2+2 dual degree program, Vietnam’s Minister of Information and Communications, Nguyen Manh Hung, visited SCU on August 1, 2024, accompanied by other ministry officials. During the visit, they participated in a joint office plaque unveiling ceremony and a forum-style discussion aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation. The 2+2 Joint Degree Program allows Vietnamese workers residing in Korea to study for two years at PTIT and two years at SCU, enabling them to pursue degrees from both institutions while continuing to work. This marks the first program of its kind implemented by a cyber university in Korea. |
