Professor Kwak Jun Young of the Department of
Computer Engineering Held Special Lecture on “The Present and Future of
Autonomous Driving” - Scheduled for August 9th(Sat), at 2:00 PM, in the
Art Tech Studio, Building B The Department of Computer Engineering (headed by Professor Lee Seong Tae) will host a special lecture titled “The Present and Future of Autonomous Driving” on August 9th(Sat), at 2:00 PM, in the Art Tech Studio, Building B. This lecture is open to current students, new and transfer students, as well as prospective applicants. Participation is available upon prior registration, and details can be found on the admissions website. The lecture will be delivered by Professor Kwak
Jun Young. Professor Kwak earned both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in
Computer Science from Stanford University, one of the world’s most prestigious
institutions, and is currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of
Computer Engineering at our university. The lecture will cover the following
topics: ▲ The current state of autonomous driving
technology and market trends, ▲ Key challenges in
autonomous driving and how the future will change with its adoption Professor Kwak stated, “As interest in
autonomous driving continues to grow, this lecture has been prepared for those
eager to explore the field. I hope many participants who wish to study this
topic in greater depth will join us.” Meanwhile, the Department of Computer
Engineering at our university is dedicated to cultivating future-oriented IT
professionals through cutting-edge IT education and learner-centered technical
training. The department focuses on developing expertise in computer
technology, information and communication technology, software engineering, and
