Professional Psychotherapy Department, VR-Based Psychological Therapy Program - HTP Picture Assessment and Immersive Visual Content Experience  In order to enhance the capabilities of current students in the Department of Professional Psychotherapy, a VR therapy program will be conducted over the course of 8 sessions throughout the month of April. The detailed program will include the HTP Picture Assessment and Immersive Visual Content Experience. The program, which will last for 50 minutes per session, will select one participant per session from current students in the department and prospective applicants. The Department of Professional Psychotherapy VR Lab is dedicated to running VR programs aimed at boosting psychological stability and easing emotional challenges. Professor Okjeong, head of the Department of Professional Psychotherapy, expects VR, AR, and XR to have a substantial impact on the field of psychotherapy as leading mediums in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She also anticipates considerable interest in the Digital Psychotherapy track and upcoming departmental events. Since its establishment in 2017, the Department of Professional Psychotherapy has been nurturing therapists capable of utilizing various mediums and techniques in psychotherapy. Particularly, since 2019, it has been running a developmental rehabilitation qualification course, annually producing professionals in developmental rehabilitation, who conduct play therapy for children with developmental disorders over a five-year period. |
