Elderly Welfare Department, Special Offline Lecture on Elderly Recreation - Accepting applications through Naver Form until April 11th (Thu)  On the 13th (Sat) starting from 3 PM, there will be an offline special lecture on elderly recreation at Room 503, 5th floor of Building A on the main campus, organized by the Elderly Welfare Department. The topic is "Active Seniors and '興&通' (Happiness and Communication)," with a Q&A session about elderly recreation after the lecture. The lecture will be conducted by Professor Yu Gyu-jong from the Elderly Welfare Major and is targeted towards current students, alumni of the Elderly Welfare Department, and those interested in the special lecture. You can apply through Naver Form until the 11th (Thu), and detailed information about the special lecture is available on the Elderly Welfare Department homepage. The Elderly Welfare Department, which aims to cultivate elderly welfare professionals equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to lead the future aging society, was established in 2004 as the first of its kind among cyber universities. It offers a differentiated curriculum focusing on multidisciplinary theories of elderly welfare and practical knowledge required in fieldwork settings. Professor Kwon Geum-joo, head of the Elderly Welfare Department, expressed her hopes that through this special lecture, students can resolve any queries they have about the Elderly Recreation course and acquire knowledge about the actual operation of recreational activities in elderly welfare settings. She stated, "I hope this lecture serves as an opportunity for students to learn about the practical aspects of recreational guidance and operation in the field of elderly welfare." She also mentioned, "In the future, the Elderly Welfare Major will continue to operate various programs such as expert lectures and alumni lectures to enhance the professionalism of current students." |
