Department Overview

The department of Elderly Welfare at Seoul Cyber University (SCU) aims to nurture the professional elderly care expert with the theoretical knowledge and the vocational competency. Ideally, students at the department can delve into the multi-disciplinary studies, related to the elderly welfare service and learn the practical knowledge from the vocational field.

The department’s curriculum provides the basic knowledge to the in-depth analysis of the research areas in the elderly welfare service. Furthermore, the department’s research area spans across the interdisciplinary studies to help students develop the comprehensive view on the elderly welfare service. Lastly, students at the department are offered opportunities to apply the given knowledge from the lecture by partaking in the vocational activities.
