STUDIO where 'Virtual eXperience(VX) system' was built
Our university has been selected for the K-MOOC (Korean Online Open Lecture) project for five consecutive years, and presents excellent lectures to the general public. A total of six courses were selected this year, achieving the greatest number of selections for two consecutive years. In this project selection, two broadcasting stations, EBS and JTBC, as well as our school, and 25 universities and institutions are selected to provide various services in connection with the advancement of K-MOOC functions. The course selected for the bundled course is the "Youth Arts Social Contribution Instructor Training Course" by nine other people, including Professor Yeo Jung-yoon of the Department of Music Therapy. This course consists of four subjects: ▲ Youth Social Service Introduction ▲ Community Arts Activities, ▲ Youth Arts Activities, Media ▲ Youth Community Activities, and in addition to this, there is a professional training course to support youth social contribution and youth activities community.
There are a total of two courses selected for individual courses. Professor Seo Young-soo's (financing and insurancing department) ▲ Risk management course in the digital financial world is about basic knowledge of digital finance, risk, virtual assets, and risk management in digital daily life. Professor Lee Wan-hyung's (Department of Global Trade and Distribution) ▲Humanity Management in the Era of Machine-Human-Environment Coexistence examines concepts and issues in the fields of machines, humans, and the environment, and helps to understand the meaning of humanity management and various cases in the new era of coexistence. The lecture will be open to the public through the K-MOOC(누리집) website at the end of this year. President Kang-in said, "The school has been selected for the K-MOOC operation project for five consecutive years since 2018 to satisfy the demand for participation in lifelong learning," adding, "We will continue to contribute to providing lifelong education opportunities for the entire nation." Our school is the first cyber university in Korea to achieve the highest grade in all three official evaluations of remote universities and cyber universities so far by the Ministry of Education, and has an online education system optimized for the un-connect era. Based on information disclosure in 2021, the largest number of new and transferred students registered among cyber universities, and was recently selected for the Ministry of Education's project to support educational innovation at remote universities. The factors that this school selected for the support project and contributed to the spread of quality remote education are as follows. ON-FLEX-based education for fostering and strengthening adult learners, Establishment of big data platform and specialized business infrastructure, and Establishment of specialized programs such as the establishment of the Department of Defense Convergence.
