Our university has been selected for the K-MOOC (Korean Massive Open Online Course) project for five consecutive years, presenting excellent lectures to the general public. This year, a total of six courses from our university have been selected, achieving the remarkable feat of being the most selected for two consecutive years.
In this year's project selection, our university, along with EBS, JTBC, and 25 other universities and institutions, has been chosen to provide various services in conjunction with the enhancement of K-MOOC functionality.

The bundled course selected is the 'Youth Art Social Contribution Instructor Training Program,' guided by Professor Yeojung Yoon from the Department of Music Therapy and nine others. This program comprises four components: ▲ Introduction to Youth Social Service ▲ Theory and Practice of Community Art Activities ▲ Youth Art Activities and Media ▲ Practical Operation of Youth Community. It is tailored to develop specialized skills in youth social contribution activities and to provide assistance to youth communities.

The course led by Professor Yeongsu Seo from the Department of Finance and Insurance, titled 'Risk Management in the Digital Financial World,' covers fundamental knowledge of digital finance and risk. It aims to prevent and utilize financial risks that may arise in the future digital financial market through learning about risk management in virtual assets and the digital daily life.

The course 'Humanity Management in the Coexistence Era of Machine, Human, and Environment,' offered by Professor Wanhyung Lee from the Department of Global Trade and Logistics, explores concepts and issues in machine, human, and environmental fields, aiming to comprehend the significance of humanity management in the new coexistence era and various case studies.

This course will be made available to the general public through the K-MOOC portal (www.kmooc.kr) by the end of this year.
President Kang stated, "Our university has been selected for the K-MOOC operation project for five consecutive years since 2018, striving to satisfy the demand for lifelong learning participation." He added, "We aim to contribute to providing lifelong education opportunities to all citizens by utilizing the latest systems in the future."
Our university's Department of Education has achieved the highest grade, Grade A, in all three official evaluations of distance learning and cyber universities conducted so far, making it the first cyber university in Korea to do so. It possesses an online education system optimized for the untact era.

Furthermore, in 2021, our cyber university had the highest number of new and transfer students enrolled among cyber universities according to the information disclosure standards. Recently, it has also been selected for the Ministry of Education's Remote University Education Innovation Support Project.
Selected for support projects based on the establishment of an education model using ON-FLEX for enhancing adult learners' capabilities, building big data platforms and specialized business infrastructures, and establishing specialized programs such as the Department of Defense Convergence. These initiatives contribute to the dissemination of high-quality remote education.
