The Big Data and Information Security Department at Cyber University is hosting its inaugural programming competition with the help of Baekjoon Online Judge The university's 2022 Programming Contest (SCUPC) ended on the 17th with 350 participants. The competition, hosted by Seoul Cyber University's Big Data & AI Center and the Department of Big Data & Information Security, embraced an open contest format, inviting participation from anyone interested. Noteworthy is the university's use of the Baekjoon Online Judge (BOJ) for this event. In the case of the Department of Big Data & Information Security at our university, we publicly recruited event supporters composed of current students. Together with these event supporters, activities such as solving problems on the Baekjoon Online Judge, promoting internal and external competitions, creating commemorative items, and organizing events to encourage participation among members were carried out. Students who participated in the competition for the first time through the Baekjoon Online Judge expressed, 'It was a coding test that felt hard at first, but being able to experience a competition was a significant milestone.' They further stated, 'The practical challenges still seem daunting, but by solving various problems of similar types, we aspire to grow.
