Korean SCM Association and SCU sign Memorandum of Understanding

- Logistics Expertise: New Theories, Technology Sharing

On the 6th, the university entered into a cooperation agreement with the Korean SCM Association.

The agreement aims to promote the development of both organizations through the sharing of new theories and technologies required in the era of informatization and specialization.

The Korean SCM Association, established with the approval of the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of SCM in South Korea. It engages in policy research for national supply chain management and competitiveness enhancement, provides consulting services for companies' SCM strategies, offers SCM education for industrial development, and conducts forums and academic activities on the global supply chain.

As per the agreement, recommended employees or members from the Korean SCM Association enrolling at the university will have the opportunity to become annual scholarship recipients, with around 30 individuals benefiting each year.

Kim Kil-seop, Executive at the Korean SCM Association, shared, "Through the collaborative efforts with Seoul Cyber University, I hope to enhance specialized education in the global supply chain network, facilitate overseas study tours, conduct academic research on the Global Value Chain (GVC), and promote information exchange both domestically and internationally."

Director of Academic Affairs, Kim Young-min, shared, "With this agreement, my wish is to provide substantial support, enabling numerous students to delve into new disciplines in SCM and distribution logistics relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, and obtain the necessary certifications."
