[Photo] Customized Career Mentorship From 10 AM to 12 PM, tailored career mentoring sessions took place in lecture rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors of Building B, covering clinical psychologists, youth counselors, specialized counseling teachers, and graduate school admissions. After lunch, the 4th International Counseling Psychology Seminar unfolded in the university's A Building 5th-floor smart lecture hall, featuring presentations on 'Counseling and Psychotherapy in Sweden, the United States, and Korea' led by speakers from the three countries. The first topic was presented by Dr. Michael Lewin, a psychology professor at California State University. He talked about 'Transdiagnostic Integrative Protocols for Emotional Disorders.' Dr. Alexander Rozental, another psychology professor at Uppsala University in Sweden, presented the second topic, which delved into 'Negative Effects of Psychotherapy.' Dr. Monica Buhrman, also from Uppsala University, focused on 'Exposure-Based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Provoked Vestibulodynia (PVD).' These sessions were pre-recorded and each lasted approximately 30 minutes. Finally, Director Sunyoung Park from the College of Psychology and Counseling presented the fourth topic on 'Expanding Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: Values-Based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.' The presentation was followed by a Q&A session. [Photo] The 4th International Counseling Psychology Seminar During the morning, over 80 attendees received personalized career mentoring. In the afternoon, more than 200 participants joined the International Counseling Psychology Seminar, with over 100 attending in person and 102 online. Seoul Cyber University's Dean of the College of Psychology and Counseling, Professor Kim Hyeona, has highlighted the importance of the 4th International Counseling Psychology Seminar. The seminar has been held annually since 2021 and offers a valuable platform to enhance the global counseling competencies of the university's students. Going forward, the university plans to invite distinguished scholars from around the world to provide learning opportunities on the latest trends in counseling and psychotherapy.
