Our university has been awarded the highest "A Grade," in the '2020 Remote University Accreditation and Competency Assessment' organized by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Education & Research Information Service (KERIS).

Our university, after being recognized as the top university in the comprehensive evaluation of distance learning universities in 2007 and receiving an "A Grade" rating in the cyber university level assessment in 2013, has once again demonstrated its excellence by being selected as an "A Grade" university in the '2020 Remote University Accreditation and Competency Assessment.' This marks the third  year our university has received the highest rating, making us the first cyber university to achieve this distinction and reaffirming our outstanding reputation.

The Ministry of Education's recent certification and competency assessment meticulously evaluated six specific areas tailored to the unique characteristics of distance learning universities. This assessment aimed to ensure that universities can effectively fulfill their roles as higher education institutions. Four universities were awarded Grade A, eleven received Grade B, and four obtained Grade C. These grades will be used as the basis for differential bonus points in the evaluation of university financial support proposals. Grade A and B universities will be granted the ability to offer educational programs to foreign universities, whereas this privilege will be restricted for Grade C universities. Additionally, the Ministry of Education has decided to transition the support program for cyber universities from content development to a financial support model, allowing universities to design and propose projects according to their individual characteristics and circumstances.

Our university is forging ahead as a leading partner in future-oriented online education, boasting the most advanced system. As the first institution in South Korea to receive accreditation as a cyber university in 2000, we pioneered online education, breaking free from the confines of time and location through the introduction of mobile lecture services. Positioned as frontrunners in future-oriented online education, Seoul Cyber University's online education curriculum is highly acclaimed. Our university's excellence in online education has garnered global recognition, exemplified by the successful execution of a three-year capacity enhancement project from 2018 to 2020, funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency, focusing on higher education e-learning in El Salvador, Central, and South America.

Our university stands as a pioneer in aligning the advantages of online education, characterized by flexible learning methods, with the strengths of traditional offline education, thereby crafting a diverse curriculum catering to the needs of our students. Our innovative 1:1 Career Coaching System offers personalized coaching programs tailored to each student, aimed at optimizing their employability and providing direct assistance in their job search endeavors. Furthermore, through the SCU mentoring initiative, we foster an environment of collaboration and knowledge exchange between current and incoming students, fostering a sense of community and facilitating the formation of personal networks. Introducing the first-of-its-kind 1-year 4-semester system, we have garnered significant acclaim from the contemporary workforce for providing students with the flexibility to adjust their graduation timelines according to individual circumstances. Additionally, our consistent excellence in course delivery is exemplified by our consecutive participation and success in the K-MOOC project, further cementing our position as leaders in the field. Recognized as a benchmark by educational authorities in 2020, our university has actively engaged in benchmarking visits and mutual collaboration with prominent offline institutions. Furthermore, at the '2020 Future Society Education Conference,' our university was spotlighted as a paradigm for future educational institutions, transitioning from the traditional offline model to a hybrid approach that embraces the untact era.

President Lee Eun-joo stated, "Since its establishment in 2001, Seoul Cyber University, operated by the Shinil Educational Foundation, has overcome the limitations of being a standalone cyber university and has made history in the field.
