The College of Social Welfare (Dean Lim Se-hee) will host a special lecture on "Building Data for GPT Analysis" on January 9th (Tuesday) from 3:00 PM to 4:20 PM in the High-tech lecture hall, Room 502 of Building B on the main campus.

The special lecture on "Social Welfare and Digital Utilization" is the 5th lecture of the Empowerment Project initiated by the College of Social Welfare to strengthen the basic skills of current students. Previous special lectures addressed themes such as social welfare and human rights, writing, communication skills, and program planning.

The speaker for this special lecture with the theme 'Building Data for GPT Analysis' is Kim Jong-won, the founder of Social Prism. He has previously conducted numerous lectures on 'Promoting Social Projects.' Recently, he has been actively conducting workshops on Smart Work using Google and practical training on Google Spreadsheets. In this special lecture, he will introduce how artificial intelligence can be effectively utilized in the field of social welfare in a world where 'everything is digitized and measurable.'

The lecture, conducted by Professor Park Tae-jung from the Department of Social Welfare, is targeted towards current students, alumni, and applicants for the 2024 academic year. The session will be broadcast in real-time through the university's YouTube channel.

On a separate note, the College of Social Welfare (Dean Prof. Lim Se-hee) holds the distinction of being the first to be established in the Seoul Cyber University and is recognized as Korea's premier social welfare college. It consists of the largest full-time faculty and student body in Seoul Cyber University. The college offers majors in social welfare, elderly welfare, welfare management, and child welfare, providing comprehensive support for those aspiring to become social welfare professionals. It has established a nationwide industry-academic network to build a foundation for practical education and internships. In 2011, it became the first Cyber University to receive accreditation from the Ministry of Education for its graduate program in social welfare, contributing to the development of specialized talents in the field and leading the way in online social welfare education.
