Seoul Cyber University Design School & Seokyeong University College of Arts signs MOU  [Photo] Seoul Cyber University's Design College and Seokyeong University's College of Beauty Arts are snapping a celebratory photo after the signing ceremony Seoul Cyber University's College of Design and Seokyeong University's College of Beauty Arts are taking a celebratory photo after the signing ceremony. Through this agreement, both universities aim to enhance the exchange of information, human, and material resources, establish a collaborative system to advance beauty education, and promote mutual development and cooperation for the benefit of both institutions. Our College of Design will establish the Beauty Design Department in the 2021 academic year, aiming to cultivate beauty professionals who will lead the K-Beauty wave and the global beauty industry. The Beauty Design Department aims to educate future professionals with originality and international sensibility, capable of thriving in various fields such as skincare, special makeup, hair styling, and nail artistry. With the advent of the smart convergence era, we aim to nurture creative and proactive beauty experts who can lead the industry and global trends, guiding the beauty industry as leading figures. Professor Cha Myeong-hee, the head of the Beauty Design Department, stated, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen mutual cooperation and collaboration not only in jointly developing and operating educational programs between the two universities but also in advancing beauty education." She further added, "In the future, the Beauty Design Department will focus on nurturing professional artists and educational leaders in preparation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era through smart beauty care content education and global content education in K-Beauty health. Meanwhile, our university is scheduled to recruit new and transfer students starting from December 1st. This includes eight colleges (undergraduate) and a total of 38 departments (majors), including the Beauty Design Department, as well as majors in Robotics Convergence, Safety Management, and Individual Broadcasting. Admission is open to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent for undergraduate programs, and transfer students need only fulfill the academic qualifications for each year.
