Seoul Cyber University Signs MOU with Dimitrie

after signing the agreement. On November 12th (Wed), Seoul Cyber University
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dimitrie Cantemir Christian
University (DIMITRIE CANTEMIR CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, hereafter DCCU) of Romania
in Room 501 of Building A. DCCU is a private university founded in 1990 in
Bucharest, Romania. Representing DCCU were President Corina A. Dumitrescu, Vice
Rector for AI Ok-hwa Lee, Vice Rector for
Digitalization Narcisa Isaila, and IT Expert Adrian Sava. From Seoul Cyber
University, President Lee Eun Ju, Vice President for International Affairs
(Co-President) Heo Myo Yeon, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Jung Sang
Won, Dean of Academic Affairs Cheon Ji Young, and Graduate School Dean Kim Hwan
attended the ceremony. Professor Nicki Lois Gerstner of the Department of
Practical English served as the moderator. The purpose of this agreement is to promote academic
cooperation, strengthen educational, cultural, and technological ties, enhance
mutual understanding, support the internationalization of both campuses, and
increase contributions to the welfare of local communities in each region. President Corina Adriana Dumitrescu stated, “Through this
agreement with Seoul Cyber University, which possesses an outstanding online
education system recognized worldwide, we aim to further develop into a truly
global university.” President Lee Eun Ju remarked, “We are very pleased to
conclude this agreement with DCCU, and we will spare no effort in providing
support so that both institutions can create the best possible synergy.” In addition to this agreement, Seoul Cyber University has
continued to expand exchanges and cooperation with renowned universities
overseas, including Anderson University in the United States, Q University in
Kazakhstan, PTIT in Vietnam, Dunaujvaros University in Hungary, and
institutions in San Bernardino, California. Building on these global partnerships, the university will further strengthen collaboration across education, culture, and research, foster a future-oriented global educational environment, and continue to broaden the scope of international exchange and cooperation laying a solid foundation for its advancement as a world-class online higher education institution. |
