Successful “2025 SCU One-Heart Grand Festival” - On October 25th (Sat), students, alumni, and faculty gathered
for a celebration of unity
On October 25th (Sat), our
university successfully hosted the “2025 SCU One-Heart Grand Festival,”
organized by the 25th Student Council (President: Lee Young Woo). The festival,
which began at 11:00 a.m. at the Shinil Campus athletic field and gymnasium,
welcomed approximately 1,000 participants, including faculty and staff, current
students, alumni, and their families. The event provided an opportunity to
reaffirm a strong sense of community and belonging, even within a university
environment centered on online education.
The cool and refreshing autumn weather
further elevated the festive atmosphere, filling the venue with laughter and
energy throughout the day. The festival promoted warm acts of sharing through a
flea market and a winter coat donation campaign titled “First Winter Sharing
Clothes”, and the operation of booths by departments provided a venue for
exchanges between students and alumni.
 On the athletic field, a professional
recreation host led a variety of community games such as yutnori (traditional
Korean board game), three-legged races, hopscotch, and gonggi (traditional
Korean jacks). Participants of all ages from families with children to alumni
and current students ran together, laughed, and cheered one another on, turning
the field into a single, vibrant festival stage.
One alumnus who attended the event shared, “It was heartwarming to return to campus after such a long time since
graduation. It reminded me that Seoul Cyber University is not just a place to
study, but a place where people are truly connected.”
Lee Young Woo, President of the 25th
Student Council, stated, “I hope the ‘2025 SCU
One-Heart Grand Festival’ became a time of renewed energy and vitality in the
daily lives of all Seoul Cyber University students.”
President of the University, Lee Eun Joo also remarked: “This One-Heart Grand Festival became a space where both current students and alumni could truly come together. Seoul Cyber University will continue to dedicate itself to enhancing student and alumni satisfaction and strengthening bonds through a wide range of events.” |
